Steady progress continues on the O’Neil pool project. Today found exterior glazing, soffit/facia, interior paint, and M.E.P. trim out. The curbs are getting installed in the parking lot and close to getting gravel placed in preparation for asphalt. The water slide is 90% installed and final prep for paint is going on in the lap & leisure pools and lazy river. The concrete deck under the water slide started this week and will be starting this week around the lap pool, the lazy river and leisure pools. The plumbing portion of the pools is nearing completion and will be ready for fill and testing next month after painting is completed.
This project includes all new underground utilities, construction of a filter building to house all pool equipment, two separate bath houses which include changing/locker/restroom facilities. Also included is a new admissions office and concessions area.
The pool areas include one lap pool with diving boards, zero entry leisure pool, lazy river, slide and splash pad. Finally extensive site concrete surrounding all pools, new skate park area and updated site parking lot are included.
