 P.J. Hoerr – Our TeamRobert Hoerr - Chairman/CEO  Bob Hoerr has served as Chairman and CEO of P.J. Hoerr, Inc since 1995. He began working full time for the company in 1980.Up until his appointment as Chairman/CEO he worked in various Project Management and estimating capacities within the company. Prior to working for P.J. Hoerr Bob spent two years working at Caterpillar, Inc in their construction maintenance division while pursuing degrees in Construction Management and Business Administration at the University of Illinois and Bradley University. Bob has served on the Board of Directors for the Greater Peoria Contractors and Suppliers Association and as a management trustee for the Plasterers and Cement Masons Health and Welfare and Pension funds. He currently serves as Vice-President of the Children's Hospital of Illinois Advisory Board and also as Board President of Apostolic Christian Skylines in Peoria. He also serves as a board member and orphan advocate for Lifesong for Orphans. Bob has been married to his wife Myrna for 36 years and is the proud father of 4 children and 8 grandchildren. Joe Hart - President & COO 
Since 1976, Mr. Hart has been involved in nearly every aspect of the construction industry. He worked his way through college as a residential carpenter and then became a commercial construction superintendent and a project manager. Mr. Hart then held increasingly responsible positions as a division manager and in 2003 was named President of P.J. Hoerr.Mr. Hart has been involved in hundreds of projects ranging in size from a few thousand dollars to over $30 million. He is an expert in resolving constructability issues and providing value-engineering options to reduce project costs. In addition, Mr. Hart brings expertise in concrete construction, carpentry, masonry and labor/management issues. In 2002, Mr. Hart served as the president of the Greater Peoria Contractors Association and has been the lead union contract negotiator since that time. In 2012 Mr. Hart was named TRICON's Construction Person of the Year. Mr. Hart is currently responsible for all field operations, cost estimating and project management. In addition to his responsibilities at P.J. Hoerr, Mr. Hart is also president of Summit Masonry and Benchmark Cabinets & Millwork. These two firms are subsidiary companies of P.J. Hoerr. Paul K. Bright, P.E., S.E. - Vice President  From 1980 to 1996, Mr. Bright served as a design civil/structural engineer for Hanson Engineers, Inc. During this period, Mr. Bright worked in the Springfield, Illinois, Midland, Michigan and Peoria, Illinois offices. As a design professional, Mr. Bright served as a project engineer, and a project manager for numerous structural, civil, transportation and quality control projects.Since joining P.J. Hoerr in 1996, Mr. Bright has acted as a project manager, corporate engineer, and manager of the design/build division. Projects he has been responsible for include complicated medical office buildings, churches, nursing homes, multi-faceted community centers, schools, and hospitals. Kirk Anderson - Vice President - Pre-Engineered Division  From 1984 – 1993, Mr. Anderson worked as a project manager for Tarlton Corporation in St. Louis and Becker Brothers in Peoria.As a project manager, Mr. Anderson was responsible for day to day management of office buildings, industrial and institutional projects. In 1993, Mr. Anderson joined P.J. Hoerr and has served as a project manager, estimator, division manager and currently as Vice President of the Pre-engineered Division. Projects include industrial, churches, schools, life safety and office/warehouses. John Moses - Vice President - Bloomington/Normal Operations  John began his career working as a tradesman in the field and developed the skills and technical aspects of best construction practices.Since joining P.J. Hoerr in 1994 Mr. Moses has opened a new division in Normal, Illinois. John is proficient in all areas of the construction process. Mr. Moses provides oversight to all office and field operations for the Bloomington/Normal division and has successfully interviewed and been selected to provide continuous construction services for numerous clients.
