PJ Hoerr, Inc. is looking to fill two Construction Estimator positions
The first position requires 7 to 15 years of commercial building estimating experience. The second position requires 3 to 7 years of commercial building estimating experience. These positions will be located in either our Peoria or Bloomington, IL offices. Additional requirements for both positions include:
- B.S. degree in construction management or engineering
- Be able to develop conceptual estimates with limited information
- Be able to present and explain estimates to clients
- Significant or exclusive experience using computerized takeoff and estimating software
- Oversee the bid process by creating invitations to subcontractors, develop preliminary schedules, perform digital quantity takeoffs, and attend bid meetings
- Write subcontracts
- Analyze subcontract bids and question apparent low bidders
- Analyze subcontract change order requests
- Lead project close-out review meetings
Compensation will include a competitive salary, medical insurance, 401k match and profit sharing. Relocation reimbursement will also be included.
